Working as a remapping engineer in Essex
The biggest towns in Essex are Southend-on-Sea, Chelmsford, Colchester, Basildon, Harlow and Grays, and the main routes between them are the M25, the A12 and the A127. You agree the area you'll cover with us, usually a drive time from where you live, and the customers inside it are booked into your calendar. Remaps are done on the customer's driveway or at their work, so you need a vehicle and your own tools, not premises.
Every job comes with a tuning file from JF Automotive, developed on its own rolling road in Kent, so you never have to write a map yourself. Someone is on the end of the phone if a car is awkward. If you don't own a tuning tool yet, JF Automotive sells them with free training and finance available.
