New Protocol for Renault and Dacia - Hitachi BEM54

Renault and Dacia 1.6 SCe engines with a Hitachi BEM54C ECU can now be read and written through the OBD port with Autotuner.

These cars have a secure gateway in front of the diagnostic port. The tool gets past it with a dedicated cable, Autotuner's ATPG050.

What the release does

• A normal read and write through the OBD port (Autotuner lists the processor as R7F701xxx).
• About two and a half minutes to read and two to write.
• Checksums are corrected automatically.

Dacia 1.6 SCe and Renault 1.6 SCe. More may be added.
