Ford 1.5EcoBlue / TDCI Bosch MD1CS005 - Now Supported

Ford's 1.5 EcoBlue and 1.5 TDCi diesels with a Bosch MD1CS005 ECU were a no until now. The ECU couldn't be read at all, not even on the bench. A new Autotuner release reads and writes it through the OBD port, so these Fords can be remapped like any other car, with the ECU left where it is.

What the release does

• A normal read and write through the OBD port (Autotuner lists it as OBD NR, TC298).
• About five and a half minutes to read and six and a half to write.
• Checksums are corrected automatically.

Which cars

Ford 1.5 EcoBlue and 1.5 TDCi, Euro 6, in European-market cars. The list may grow.
